Have-A-Go Mantrailing!
Sun 17th Nov - Semi-Rural - Brough Park
Service Description
Want to give mantrailing a go with your dog but would like to see how your dog finds it before committing to a full 4-hour group workshop? Then come along to our Have-A-Go Mantrailing day! We're hosting a full day of 45 minute long individual sessions where we'll introduce you to the sport of mantrailing, explain the theory, teach you the basics of line handling and give your dog the opportunity to have a go at multiple short quick-fire trails. We'll bring the long line and scent articles - all you need is a suitable harness (ideally Y-front) for your dog and some rewards (treats or toys) that they like! Open to all breeds over 4 months old and all training levels. Reactive dogs welcome, if they are reactive to people please ensure they are wearing a suitable muzzle. Please wear appropriate footwear as the ground may be muddy in places. We cannot accept dogs for mantrailing wearing only a collar for safety reasons, so make sure to bring their harness along. For Brough Park: We will be meeting at Brough Park leisure centre overflow car park. Google Maps link: https://maps.app.goo.gl/9jHSACccju4F3QZq9 what3words: ///spillage.stylists.escorting
