Service Description

All our Social Walk assessments are held at either Whitfield Valley Nature Reserve or Rudyard Lake and last approximately 1 hour. All assessments start on-lead as a Neutral Walk, and if we assess that your dog is suitable, will move to off-lead or longlines. We will discuss body language, help you learn to read your dog, know. when to step in, teach you the '1, 2, that'll do' mantra, and give you advice for moving forwards with Social Walks. We highly recommend that your dog is muzzle trained and wears a muzzle for their assessment. If your dog is reactive then we may not be able to accept them for a Social Walk assessment or Social Walk until they are muzzle trained. This ensures safety for your dog along with other dogs and owners on the walk.
