Service Description

We're super excited to be working with Ridge Dogs to bring a Mantrailing Workshop to Worcestershire this May exclusively for Honest Hounds members! Mantrailing taps into your dog’s natural scenting abilities in a way that’s mentally stimulating, confidence-boosting, and seriously fun. It’s ideal for reactive, anxious, or high-energy dogs because it gives them a clear job to do in a low-pressure, supportive environment. It builds trust, burns energy, and deepens your bond, all while your dog gets to be the brilliant nose-driven creature they were born to be. 👋 What to Expect We’ll guide you through everything on the day, so there’s absolutely no need for prior experience. We’ll start with the basics, how dogs use their noses, what the different parts of a trail look like, and how to read your dog’s body language while they’re working. You’ll take turns running trails with your own dog, and watching other dogs work is just as valuable, it gives you a chance to spot patterns, learn from different handling styles, and really see how scentwork affects each individual dog. It’s a relaxed and supportive environment where there’s no pressure to get it “perfect”, the focus is on exploration, learning, and having fun. Whether your dog is a mantrailing maestro on or more of a slow and steady wins the race type, we’ll meet you both where you’re at. The whole experience is incredibly enriching and a brilliant way to build confidence and connection between you and your dog. If you’ve got any questions beforehand or your dog has specific needs or sensitivities, feel free to drop me a message at @constellationdogtraining. Spaces are very limited. We can’t wait to see what your dogs can do! Ryan and Flavia @ridgedogs
